Albert (Bert) Lewis Leeper, formally of Warwick N.Y., passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his family at Trinity Hospital FL. December 14th, 2021. He was 91 years old. Born April 1, 1930, he was the son of the late Albert and Helen (Mabee) Leeper. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Theresa; son, Albert; sisters, Florence Kitchell and Helena Leinweber.
Bert was a tradesman, hunter, fisherman, trapper, skills handed down by his forefathers from New Milford (Jockey Hollow) N.Y. He serviced the Warwick Township as a plumber (24/7) going out in all kinds of weather meeting the needs of his community. He continued his work at St. Anthony’s Community hospital in the Maintenance department and wherever needed.
Anybody who met Bert was enriched by his storytelling and jokes leaving a smile on their faces. He also shared much of his knowledge and knowhow to all who wanted to learn. He enjoyed cooking and baking for his family and friends leaving all, including himself. very satisfied. He also enjoyed his hobbies of metal detecting along with building and fixing anything.
Bert especially enjoyed trips with his wife Theresa whether going to Florida to visit their grandchildren or counting deer on back roads to watching dolphins. All their trips were special as long as they were together. Bert and Theresa settled in New Port Richey, FL Now both are together again, two bright stars above watching over their loved ones. True love forever.
He is survived by his loving family: daughters, Patricia Lagano and Karen Leeper; grandchildren, Dorinda Leeper-Odell and husband George, Michael Lagano and wife Danielle; great grandchildren, Arron Goodrich and husband Johnny, Vincent, Olivia and Anthony Lagano, Devin Odell and fiancé Jordan Lee Smith; great great grandchildren, Jayden and Aria Goodrich and Emma Rose Odell. He is also survived by his nephew David Kitchell and wife Marita, his nieces, Bonnie Penaluna and husband Rich, Patricia Kitchell, Irene Tendler and Lorraine McMahon. His cousin Judy Leeper, as well as many friends and extended family. He was well loved and is sadly missed.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
