Barbara Lynn Langford
September 13, 1953 - May 4, 2023

Barbara Lynn Langford, 69, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away on May 4, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1953  in Tampa, Florida, to Charles Langford  and Betty Tait Langford. She is survived by her loving wife, Kathleen Anne LeClaire, and their son, Jacob. Babs, as she was known to her friends and family, was a woman of many talents and passions, but her fascination with nature was at the heart of it all. She was drawn to the natural world and spent countless hours observing and learning. Her love of gardening was just one manifestation, her art another. Despite her expertise in horticulture, Babs didn’t want to be known solely as the “plant lady.” She was a gal with many hats and was always willing to try new things. After studying Journalism and media at the Uñiversity of South Florida, she became a pioneer in the online hot tub trade. She was an entrepreneur at heart, and continued to pursue her business interests throughout her life. Even in her final days, she was making business calls. Babs’ love and dedication to her family was evident in all that she did. In 2009, she married Kathleen and together they shared a deep and loving bond. Babs was a devoted wife and mother, and her family meant everything to her. Babs will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her infectious enthusiasm for life, her generosity, and her willingness to help others made a positive impact on many lives throughout her life. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree, a bush or some other beauty in your space as a reminder of her.
