Benito G. Perez, 51 of Lakeland, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. Benito moved to Florida in 2015 from Connecticutt where he was a supervisor in the Special Collections/Pheresis Department of the American Red Cross in Farmington, Connecticutt. He enjoyed being with friends, vacations by the beach and boardwalk and loved his job.
He is survived by his dear friend, William Rivera; brothers, Carlos R. Rodriguez and Adam V. Rodriguez and sisters, Elsa Rodriguez, Isabel Rodriguez, Lucy Boehler and Maria Perez.
Benito was predeceased by his parents, Leon Perez and Evangelista Valentine and his sister, Janet Perez DeJesus.
There will be a Funeral Service at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 1 pm followed by entombment.
The family has entrusted care to Coastal Cremations and Funeral Care-Zephyrhills Chapel.
