Bernice Ester Beeman
July 26, 1943 - November 22, 2021

Bernice E Beeman, 78, of Lutz, Florida, passed away on November 22nd, 2021 after a long battle with dementia and respiratory conditions. Bernice was born on July 26, 1943 to Leslie J. and Bernice Folds in Utica, NY. Bernice grew up in Utica and graduated from Utica Free Academy. She went on to study auto mechanics at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) and became an avid auto enthusiast. Bernice drove her Pontiac GTO in her first drag race at Utica Rome Speedway in NY, winning first place. In 1978, she met the love of her life Bradford (Brad) Beeman. They were married for 43 fun filled adventurous years traveling around the United States. During their travels, she worked for many employers including GE, NY Psychiatric hospitals and multiple retailers before settling into her career in property management with her husband Brad which took them from Florida to California and back again. After retiring, Bernice spent many hours at the flea market with her husband where they enjoyed meeting new people and selling their custom made, one of a kind bird houses and feeders. She enjoyed reading and collecting Elvis and Snoopy memorabilia. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those that knew her. She is preceded in death by her sisters Dawn and Dorothy (Bob Voce, Utica, also deceased). She is survived by her husband Bradford Beeman, her sister Edith (Neil, deceased) Bartlett, and four daughters; Susan (Karr), Tina (Holguin), Heidi (Morinitti), Brenda (Noble) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    My Gramma Bernice Beeman was my rock and my role model. I love her and miss her dearly.
