Bobby Underwood
December 15, 1936 - July 15, 2021

Bobby passed away peacefully after a long and happy life on July 15, 2021 in New Port Richey, Florida.
Born in Amigo, WV, December 15, 1936, he was preceded in death by parents Jess David Underwood and Lola Vaught Underwood, Sisters Geneva Spade and Lois Smith.
Bobby served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and Merchant Marines and retired after over 30 years of service from Kroger.
He enjoyed thrift shopping, good music, watching movies and traveling, as well as a good cup of coffee and conversation, usually at Dunkin’ Donuts.
He is survived by longtime companion, Joanne Butcher, 4 children, Paula (Tim) Greenway, Sherri Underwood, Katina (Todd) Houde, and Stephen (Kristen) Daniel; 7 grandchildren,  Maia, Bradley, Chelsea, Christine, Cameron, Logan and Nathan; and 7 great-grandchildren, Carson, Avery, Brantley, Brady, Lola, Luna and Harleigh. Also surviving are his special friends, Paul and Lisa Hartge; and sisters, Rita Cunningham, Brenda Sue McKay, Nancy Sanders, and Karen Underwood; and  brother, Shirley “Gene” Underwood and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. A graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on September 10th at the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens in Roanoke, VA.
