Brenda Renee (Herndon) Foyle, 69, passed away Monday, January 3 after complications from a heart attack. She was born June 27, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, and was the daughter of the late James Edgar Herndon and Mary Juanita Fowler. Brenda was a 1970 graduate of Campbell High School. She worked for Bell South for 25 years. In 1998 she earned her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of West Georgia and became a middle school math teacher for Coweta County Schools where she worked for 16 years. Brenda then retired to Florida where she was a faithful and dedicated volunteer of Land O’Lakes United Methodist Church. Brenda is survived by her sons, Christopher (Debbie) Foyle, Luthersville, Georgia, Michael (Dee Dee) Foyle of Land O’Lakes, Florida, three grandchildren, and her sister, Becky Minter, Powder Springs, Georgia. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Randall and Steve. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15 at 11am at Land O’Lakes United Methodist Church in Land O’Lakes, Florida. A family reception will be held Saturday, January 29 in Powder Springs, Georgia. All are welcome; please contact the family for further information.
