Brian Worthy Dimmick
February 6, 1939 - May 1, 2023

Brian W. Dimmick, age 84 of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday May 1, 2023.

Brian was born on February 6, 1939 in Yeovil, England, where he began his career as an engineer with Westland Aircraft. Whilst playing tennis he met Maureen, they married and with their two sons they emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1967, where he worked for Boeing Helicopters and later Westinghouse. They moved to Swarthmore and added a daughter to their family. In 1983 they moved to Florida. He then had his happiest work years with Lockheed Martin, on the Titan Rocket at Cape Canaveral. In retirement he enjoyed his love of trains and building RC model aircrafts.

His love, humor and memories will be cherished by his loving wife Maureen; sons, Christopher and his wife Laura; Steven and his wife Karen; daughter, Julieann; and grandson, Theo.

Per Brian’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

    I am so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing.
    I know it has been very hard for you recently with his deteriorating health. He is now at peace and you can start to recover.
