Carl was a very special man, friend and neighbor. He was always busy with helping many of us in the neighborhood. Carl was taken way too young, but our loss is Heaven’s gain, where I am certain he was welcomed with open arms. Carl will be missed by many of us. Rest in Peace…

To say that Carl was loved by so many, is an understatement! He had the kindest heart for others. He dead a selfless man. Always looked out for the safety of our neighborhood by driving around at all hours, and warned us all if something was out of the ordinary. Carl had a special talent at being the “ Handyman “ of our neighborhood. He could fix, repair, and put together most things that were asked of him.
A very precious memory that has a special place in my heart is when Mr. Carl got the neighbors together on our street, before Christmas to decorate our home with lights that some neighbors weren’t using so that my children and I could enjoy the Christmas season. My children and I were gone for the day that day, and we came home to beautiful lights placed on our home. He and the neighbors brought such joy, it made me cry. My children and I will NEVER forget the kindness and love shown that day.

I’m Carl’s daughter, Angela. It’s so nice to see that Carl took care of others while he abandoned his children. I only allowed my name in this obituary to finally be acknowledged by my “father”. He gave us nothing in life and nothing in his death other than the freedom of never having to be disappointed with his absence. I only pray that his soul answered for how he never showed for one birthday, school events or any event in our lives for that matter. I attempted for years as a young girl to see him but my letters were returned- calls ignored and visits he never showed for. I find peace knowing he finally had to answer for his absence
