Conrad Jack Luchay
September 13, 1938 - May 26, 2022

Conrad Jack Luchay, 83 of Zephyrhills, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years, Marsha; his cherished children, son Alan (Mary) Luchay; daughters Laura (Dirk) VanEnkevort, Elena (Dan “Bucky”) Phillips, Barbara (Greg) Larson; brothers, Richard (Connie) Luchay and Len Luchay; and sister Stephanie “Stevie” Severson. He was an affectionate “GrandDad” to 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by Marsha’s children, Rodney (Mary) Luckey, Franklin (Marie) Luckey, Daniel (Cathy) Luckey and Laura (George) Luckey and their families.

Conrad was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Victoria (Fetro) Luchay and his brother, Edwin Luchay.

Conrad grew up on his family’s dairy farm in Perronville in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where his brother Richard still resides. He was a passionate tennis player, avid reader and an extremely talented musician, having the ability to play many instruments and any song by ear. He had a life-long, avid interest in aviation, electronics, photography, country music and playing games with family and friends, especially cards. Conrad loved animals and will be missed by his cat, “Petey”.  Conrad and Marsha would also visit the Rose Castle Senior Living Center as well as other local facilities where he would entertain the residents by playing all their favorite oldies.

The family is planning a Celebration of Conrad’s Life in October at Shady Oaks Clubhouse in Zephyrhills.
