Constance “Connie” Keck, 72 of Zephyrhills, passed away Wednesday, July 26th at Advent Health Tampa. Connie was a native of Cleveland, OH where she grew up on a farm with two siblings. She graduated from BlackRiver High School and went on to raise her beautiful family in Mansfield, OH.
After meeting her soulmate and other half, Ron, in 1995, they married and moved to Smithville, TN, later moving to Zephyrhills, FL in 2004 to be closer to her grandkids. Ron and Connie spent countless evenings playing card games, during which Connie was convinced Ron was attempting to cheat by stacking the deck. Ron does not deny it. Connie loved her family and friends, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She spent many years in various roles in the accounting field. She was a dedicated employee and often worked more than one job as she couldn’t stand still. She loved Christmas time and would often start decorating in October, which freed her up to make dozens of her delicious cookies to share with family and friends. Connie was strong in her faith and joined St. Joseph Catholic Church where she became a very active supporter and member.
Connie is proceeded in death by her parents, Edward & Betty Eberling. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years Ronald E. Keck, son Matthew Beilstein of San Diego, CA, daughter Kelley (Jed) Rowe of Canton, MI, Jess Keck of South Burlington, VT, brother Charles (Conni) Eberling of Wellington, OH, sister Deborah Kazmierczak of Medina, OH. She has six grandchildren that already miss her terribly, Jordan Denhoff of Arnold, MO, Jenna and Jillian Beilstein of Riverview, FL, Jake, Chloe and Luke Rowe of Canton, MI.
Honoring her wishes, the immediate family gathered for an intimate church service to memorialize Connie. In lieu of flowers and a formal service, if you wish to make a donation, the family kindly requests that they be made to a local charity of choice, in her honor.
