|Connie Benedict (King), lovingly known as Connie, passed away on November 25, 2023, in Lutz, FL. She was born in Dayton, OH, and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Connie was a woman filled with love and affection. She had a contagious laughter that could brighten anyone’s day. One of her greatest joys was shopping, especially for her granddaughter, Jessi. Connie’s constant companion was her loyal dog, Buddy, whom she adored and pampered. She also cherished her cockatiel, Hottie, as a beloved member of her family. Family was of utmost importance to Connie. She is survived by her loving husband, Roger, her cherished granddaughter, Jessica Amero, and her devoted daughter, Carla Amero. Connie’s nurturing nature extended to her furry and feathered family members, as she leaves behind her adored dog, Buddy, and her beloved cockatiel, Hottie. She truly loved her sisters-in-law, Kim Livingston, Debbie Trombley and Donna Martin. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Ruth Goff. Connie’s green thumb was well-known among her loved ones. She found solace and joy in tending to her beautiful flowers and plants daily. Gardening became her therapy, and her vibrant garden was a testament to her passion and care. Connie received her education from King High School and further pursued her studies at the University of Tampa. Her thirst for knowledge and dedication to her education were admirable traits that she carried throughout her life. Connie will be remembered for her boundless love, infectious laughter, and nurturing spirit. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of warmth and affection. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her.
