Corinne (Kinny) Harris Powers Barker of Dade City, Florida, formerly of Central Square, New York, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on December 24, 2020. Kinny was the 5th daughter of Fremont and Sallie Powers of Watertown, New York. In 1964, she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob Barker) of Watertown. Kinny and Bob loved to travel and were able to enjoy many years in their motor home traveling across the country and to Alaska. Family was always first with Kinny and there was nothing more important to her than spending time with her children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. Kinny was a beloved school bus driver in the Central Square School District for 34 years, retiring with Bob to enjoy travel and winters in Florida. In 2008, they made Florida their home. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert J, Barker, her son William (Bill) Barker of Huntersville, North Carolina and her daughter Rebecca (Becki) Cedrone of Alpharetta, Georgia, her grand daughters Alyssa, Brianna, Oliva and Natalie and her sisters Cornelia Courtney (Bill), Jean Crenshaw (Tom), and Susan Washburn (Gary) and her brother-in-law Thomas Barber. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Ann and Donna and her son, Robert J. Barker. From her childhood summers on Round Island in Clayton, New York to her years in Central Square and her time in Florida, Kinny shared love, support and fun wherever she went. She never met a stranger and was a remarkably strong and giving woman. Her family wishes to thank the many friends that supported her through her difficult physical challenges the past few years and for the friendships and love they shared. A celebration of life will be held in New York during the Summer of 2021. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kinny’s memory to the Elks Lodge No. 2731, Zephyrhills, Florida.
