Daisy Louise Grimes was born on December 27, 1935, to the union of Fannie Mae and J.K. Lloyd in Lambert, Mississippi. Daisy received her formal education at Lambert Mississippi High School and then attended Wilforce University and received her associate degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) in Human Services. She accepted Christ as her savior at a young age as her Savior at a young age and was united with Christian Faith Fellowship Church and served on the Mother’s Board for over 10 years. (Timeline) Daisy Louise Grimes was united in holy matrimony with George W. Grimes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their union was blessed with nine children. She served as a teacher’s assistant and in areas of human services. She enjoyed church activities, singing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Daisy Louise Grimes departed this life on July 15, 2022.
She was proceeded by her mother, Fannie Mae Austin; father, J.K. Lloyd; husband, George W. Grimes; and son Bryant Timothy Grimes. She leaves to cherish her memory Willie Earnest Grimes (wife, Temple Ann Grimes), Sr., Barbara Anita Lloyd, David Roderick Grimes (wife, Sonda Uylaine Grimes), Terrence William Grimes, Teresa Gail Grimes Snead (husband, James Snead), George Anthony Grimes, Bruce Willet Grimes (wife, Roxane L. Grimes), Martha Louise Grimes, ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
