Dale Worthington “Buckwheat” Brown, 68 of New Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully on August 28, 2020. He was born in Maryland in 1952. He moved to Florida in 1995, where he lived for the rest of his years. Dale worked as a Mental Health Technician for many years at Fairwinds and Morton Plant Hospital. He was an active member and advocate of AA for 19 years. Dale is survived by his wife Susan, mother Barbara Ann, daughters Amber and Mallory, son in-law Justin, grandchildren Anyiah and Adeja, brothers John, Greg, Mark and Justin, sister Carmen, sister in-law Margie, nieces LaToya and Kyra, and nephews Dominick and Gerren. Dale offered his wisdom, gentleness, humor, and a kind, empathetic ear to all of those fortunate enough to know him. To honor Dale we will continue to put our faith and trust in God, and live by his mantra to always, “keep it simple.” You will truly be missed. We love you, “Daley.”
