David L. Camp
January 29, 1940 - May 7, 2021

David Len Camp, Age 81, Born in Carson City, MI on January 29, 1940, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children. David graduated from Carson City High School. He was a veteran of the US Army. Following his service, he worked and retired from General Motors after 30 years. David was an active member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge. He resided in DeWitt, MI, Houghton Lake, MI and spent the last 5 years in Zephyrhills, FL. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, golfing, shuffleboard and dancing. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Camp. His children Gina (Bryan) Balzer, Martin (Tara) Camp, Kevin (Rachel) Camp, Cara (Russell) Verrell; three grandchildren; Maria, Drew and Sean; sister Nyla Cook. David was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Frieda and Richard Slattery; sister Myrill Horton and brother Leon Camp. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Dave’s memory to Gulfside Hospice.  https://www.gulfside.org/make-a-gift.html
