Dominick “Dom” Piscioniere
August 15, 1939 - November 9, 2023

Dominick Joseph “Dom” Piscioniere, 84 of San Antonio, FL (formally of Shelton, CT) passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 with his loving family by his side. Dom was born in Derby, Connecticut and moved to Florida upon retirement. He was a Foreman for Carpenter Technologies in Bridgeport, and he also worked for the Town of Shelton.

Dom was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in San Antonio, FL, as well a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed his retirement to the fullest on the golf course, and actually had two hole in ones at Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club. He loved to walk and swim at his clubhouse pool, was an ace at crossword puzzles and Lexulous, and thoroughly enjoyed playing Rummikub with his friends and family. In his younger days, Dom was an athlete and played football and softball. He is also fondly remembered as a coach for many youth sports in Shelton.

Dom is survived by his loving wife of over 61 years, Cindy; sons Dohn (Maria) Piscioniere; John (Sharon Lauter) Piscioniere; and his daughter, Joy (Todd) Pozefsky; his precious grandchildren, Kyle Piscioniere, and Julia (Brianne Weikel) Piscioniere; his sister, Rose Minnix; several nieces and nephews as well as many close friends both within his Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club community, and his hometown of Shelton.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church 32825 Rhode Island Ave. San Antonio, Florida 33576.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus 11549 Curley Rd. San Antonio, FL 33576 or St Anthony of Padua Church.
