To the Family of Don and Marie La Crue,
Sending you my condolences during this sorrowful time. We am sorry for the loss of your parents You all are in my thoughts and prayers. My parents knew Din and Marie through the Knights of Columbus. Due to my late husband Jon meeting Don at Knights of Columbus function in Lamar, Co many years ago, Jon gained employment at the Colorado Boys Ranch as the Building Trades teacher. Don was a wonderful person to all!

I have so many memories of Don when he worked in La Junta! I’m smiling just thinking of them!
Don was a wonderful director, teacher, leader and friend. His heart was always with a child and he fought for their needs!
I’m sorry for your loss. I feel a piece of my story is gone now too.
