Donald Kenneth Ventura, 83 of Zephyrhills, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was born in the Bronx and moved to Florida 41 years ago from Cobleskill, New York. He was the owner and operator of the Village Butcher Shop in Zephyrhills for over 30 years and an honorably discharged United States Army veteran. Donald enjoyed watching wrestling, both on television and in person, hanging out with friends and family, going to the casino when he was able and loved his cat, “Red”.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of over 40 years, Valerie Ventura who passed away on September 15, 2000; daughters, Kathy Ventura and Phyllis Ventura and his sons, Dwayne, Joseph and Michael Ventura. He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Ventura; and his grandchildren, Dominick Ventura, Anthony Ventura-Burns and Joseph Peterson and multiple cousins in New York.
He was the best husband, father and grandfather, stepping up to be a father to his beloved grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
