Gary M. Reffit
January 1, 1951 - November 22, 2022

Gary M. Reffit, 71 of Zephyrhills, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He moved to Florida in 2013 from overseas and was a commercial director for Petro Chemical and was Methodist in faith. Gary loved sports, whether watching or playing, as long as it was a sporting event. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State football team, was a member of the Zephyrhills Loyal Order of the Moose where he was known as a social butterfly; he was a great dancer and loved outdoor sports.

Gary is survived by his significant other, Karen Aylsworth of 20 plus years; 2 sons, Steven (Heather) and Michael (Mary Beth) Reffit; his sister, Dolores and her family and his granddaughter, Sara. Also surviving are Karen’s children, Christine (Mike) Hagaman, Greg (Mary) Aylsworth, Jr., and Elizabeth (Tim) Jones and their families.

A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held at a later date at the Moose Lodge.
