Gene Brown, 78 of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was a part-time Florida resident until moving to Zephyrhills permanently last year from Michigan. He was an honorably discharged US Air Force veteran and retired from General Motors. Gene enjoyed golf, watching sports, was an avid Detroit Tigers and Wolverines fan as well as a wonderful family man.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of over 47 years, Marie Brown; 4 sons, Leonard Brown, Greg (Ruby) Brown, Brion (Tina) Tash; daughter, Colleen (Darren) Cain as well as 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Steven Tash in 2018.
