Irene King (Monaco)

Passed away peacefully at her home in Lutz, Florida. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey to Costabile (Robert) and Christine Monaco. Irene lived in West New York and North Bergen, New Jersey before settling down to raise her family in Fairview, New Jersey. Irene had a passion for life, her family, and her friends.

Irene is survived by her husband of over 58 years Jack, loving daughters Paula Brossman and Joanne McShane and son-in-law Sean McShane. Irene’s biggest love was being Nana to her six grandchildren. Christina Brossman and her wife Hope, Donnie Brossman III, RJ Brossman, Brianna McCoy, Paige McCoy and Sean McShane Jr. The family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude’s in honor of Irene. A celebration of life in Irene’s honor will be held at a later date.

    What a special Lady Irene was! She was part of our Red Hat Group for many years and was such fun. Always smiling and chatting away. No doubt she absolutely adored her grand babies as she talked about them often. We will greatly miss her and send our condolences to her entire Family. ❤️

    Jack, Paula, Joanne and the entire family, I cannot begin to express how shocked and saddened I was to hear of Irene’s passing. I loved her like a sister.
