Jairo Antonio Robayo
July 3, 1954 - June 14, 2023

Jairo Antonio Robayo, 68 of Wesley Chapel, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the United States in 1979 and to Wesley Chapel in 2001 from Tampa. He worked as a painter for the University of Tampa for over 35 years and enjoyed dancing, karaoke and especially spending time with his beloved family. Jairo was also a faithful Jehovah Witness.

Jairo is survived by his devoted wife of almost 45 years, Luz; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, John and Mariam Robayo and Michael and Versy Robayo; his sister, and brother-in-law, Rosalba and Luis Barragan. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Gianni, Cristofer and Leonardo as well as many friends and co workers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16th from 6-8 pm at Coastal Cremations and Funeral Care 4911 Allen Road Zephyrhills, Florida 33541.

    I’m so sad to hear about Jairo’s passing. We spent many years together playing soccer/futbol at UT. I have lots of fond memories of Jairo. He was always friendly and upbeat. I wish all of you the very best at this difficult time.
