Keith Ross Crawford
March 13, 2020

Zephyrhills – Keith Ross Crawford, age 57, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Tampa General Hospital due to complications resulting from a car accident.

Keith was born in Utica on November 19, 1962 the son of his late parents, Karl and Patricia Crawford.  He attended Utica schools and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1981.

On June 26, 1982, Keith married the love of his life, Regina Twitchell at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chadwicks, NY.  The couple settled into their home on Oneida Street in Sauquoit, NY for the next 31 years.  Keith’s greatest joy was his family.  The couple welcomed a son, Justin Keith, in September 1985 and a daughter, Lori Marie, in December 1990.

For years the Crawford family enjoyed RV camping, travelling around New York State and family gatherings.  Keith was a 30 year employee at Tri-State Industrial Laundry until leaving the company due to back and leg injuries.  In 2013, the family moved to Zephyrhills, Florida to be away from the cold and damp New York weather that plagued Keith’s injuries.

Keith is survived by his wife, Regina; their son, Justin of Hoboken, NJ and their daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Ryan Smith of Davenport, FL.  He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Ron and Charlene Crawford, of Deerfield, NY; his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Dave DePalma of Utica, NY; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Sheila Twitchell of Zephyrhills, FL; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Penny Twitchell of Alpharetta, GA; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barb and Doug Moran of Clinton, NY; several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and a great-nephew.

Keith and Regina chose cremation for burial and their daughter, Lori Crawford-Smith personally created the ceramic heart-shaped urn. A Catholic Memorial Mass was held on March 17, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zephyrhills, FL.

I miss you everyday. I love you eternally. You loved me first before any other man. A gentle giant like you deserves to be soaring with the eagles now. I know you’ll be watching over me like you have my entire life. Forever in my heart. You are my sunshine.

You were a great uncle and cared about your family very much. You taught me a lot about humor, happiness and being easy-going. Thank you for always supporting me and for being my Godfather.

Keith you will always be most favorite brother. In law doesn’t mean anything. You loved my sister, Regina. You will always be in our hearts. Your name will never be in the paat-tense. We will carry your essence with love and most importantly with humor. We will miss your physical presence but my dear favorite friend you will never be forgotten with much love, Barb & Doug
