Leopoldo Ajeda Jr., beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023, in Zephyrhills, Florida, at the age of 71. He was born on June 28, 1952, in New York, New York. Leopoldo’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Leopoldo worked diligently as a shipbuilder and refitter, demonstrating his exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to his trade. He took great pride in his work and approached every project with precision and skill.
Outside of his profession, Leopoldo found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching television and spending time with his beloved sons, Moses E.J and Abel Ojeda. His sons were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment shared with them.
Leopoldo was a faithful member of the 7th Day Adventist Church, finding solace and guidance in his faith. Additionally, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, exemplifying discipline and commitment throughout his military career.
Leopoldo is preceded in death by his loving parents, as well as two brothers and two sisters. His absence will be deeply felt by his surviving family, including his sons, Moses E.J and Abel Ojeda, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to honor Leopoldo’s memory will be held on Friday, November 24th, from 10 am until noon at the East Pasco 7th Day Adventist Church. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and all who knew him to come together, share stories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable man.
As we bid farewell to Leopoldo Ajeda Jr., let us remember him for his unwavering dedication to his work, his love for his sons, and his commitment to his faith. He will forever be remembered as a devoted father, a skilled craftsman, and a faithful servant of his country and community. May his soul find eternal peace.
