
Linda Janowski Ray, 71 of New Port Richey passed away on May 29, 2019. Born October 25, 1947, in Trenton New Jersey, Mrs. Ray was a lifelong resident. She was retired from New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission with 25 years of service and a member of C.W.A. local #1033.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jennie and Frank Janowski and a brother Lawrence Janowski. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James B. Ray; three sons and their partners, Michael Ray 1st, and his wife Margaret Ray of Bordentown, New Jersey, William E. Ray and MaryJo Leigh of Tampa, Florida, and James C. Ray and Candice Brodbeck of New Port Richey, Florida, one daughter Jennifer A. Ray and her partner Joseph Canella of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Heather Anne Ray, William E. Ray II, Jessica Burd, Michael Ray, Lisa Burd, Joshua Ray, Hanna Ray, Matthew C. Ray; five great grandchildren, Billy Milinski, Sophia Ann Ray, William E. Ray III, Gabriel Ray, Nathen Hernandez; brother Steven Janowski and wife Venessa Janowski; brother-in-law Chalmer Ray and sister-in-law Geneva Ray Boehmlien; three nieces, Denise M. Hughes, Sally Ann and husband Marco Ruano, Cherie Lynn and husband Dale Rose; two nephews, Lawrence and Debora Janowski and Michael Janowski; Lifelong friends, Dianne E. Novatkoski, Linda and her husband Kenneth Bolton of Florida.
Mrs. Ray was a member of the Cook Athletic Association in Trenton and a huge supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. She was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan and met many of the Stanley Cup Champions from past years.
We have not decided on services yet because of travel and distance issues for much of the family. When a date and time is chosen, we will announce it.
