Lyvia “Mamita” Amador
May 13, 1946 - May 30, 2023

Lyvia “Mamita” Amador, 77 of Zephyrhills, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida in 2019 from Connecticut. She was an elementary school teacher for many years and a devoted Christian who loved her Lord. Mamita enjoyed playing cards and dominos, baking beautiful and elaborate wedding cakes but her true love was spending time with her family.

Lyvia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Marianne Amador; her daughter and caregiver, Cindy Amador; grandchildren, Leon Guerrero and his partner, Fernanda, Vincent and his wife, Janett Amador, Gilbert and his wife, Esmerelda Guerrero, Sandy and her husband, Byron Nunley. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Jaela, LeeAnna and one on the way.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 7 from 6-8 pm at Coastal Cremations and Funeral Care 4911 Allen Road Zephyrhills, FL 33541.
