Maria Krug, 83 of Zephyrhills, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Maria was born in Portugal and after living in many places throughout her lifetime, she moved to Florida in 2018 from Fort Myers, Florida. She was a self-employed seamstress, working with draperies and furniture upholstering and later on, becoming a tailor and doing alterations. She loved sewing and raising her chickens.
Maria is survived by her sons, George and Michael Krug; 2 daughters, Karen (Rick) West and Maria Scott; 2 sisters, Maria Aurora and Maria DaGraca; and brother, Jose. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Christiana, AnnaMaria, Brandon and Suzanne as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander in 1996.
The family has entrusted Maria’s care to Coastal Creamtions and Funeral Care.
