Maxine Miller
February 28, 1938 - November 3, 2022

Miller, Maxine Eleanor (Carnes) 84 years young, of Zephyrhills, FL, previously of Linden, MI, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Maxine was born in Grand Blanc and
raised in Argentine, MI. She graduated from Linden High School in 1956. She met Don C. Miller at the Argentine Church of the Nazarene in 1953 and married him on March 3, 1956. They built their house and raised their children in Argentine. She worked as School Secretary at Linden Community, Carman- Ainsworth and Grand Blanc Schools. Maxine then became a homemaker to raise her children. Maxine was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene and was Sunday School Secretary and Treasurer for several years. Maxine loved her grandchildren with all her heart, right after Don. Her other passions include softball, bowling, reading, and baking. She also enjoyed playing card and board games with the grandkids and neighbors. Also impromptu coffee hour(s) on the carport. Maxine played softball until she was 65! Maxine and her husband, Don, found a place in Zephyrhills, FL that made them want to start wintering
in 2001. They loved it so much, that they decided to live permanently in Florida in 2014.

Loved ones she left behind: her loving husband of 66 years, Don, Sr. Her four children: Don, Jr (Denise)
of Williston, ND, Brenda of Gillette, WY, Jill of Phoenix, AZ and Stephen of Zephyrhills, FL. 13 AMAZING
Grandchildren, 15 BEAUTIFUL Great Grandchildren and 1 PRECIOUS Great Great Grandchild. Brother,
Reverend Gerry (Chris) Carnes of Dallas, GA. Many nieces and nephews.
Maxine was preceded in death by: Her parents, mother and father-in-law, 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
A service for both Maxine and Don will be held together, when Don joins Maxine with Jesus.
