Michelle Frances Burns
September 13, 1962 – July 23, 2022
Michelle Frances Burns, of Lutz, Florida has passed away at the young age of 59. Born in Lowell,
Massachusetts to PJ and Fran Morin, Michelle was the seventh child in a family of ten siblings. The
family relocated to Pinellas County, FL in 1971.
Michelle was married to James Michael Burns in 1989 and for the next 32 years up to the time of her
death, she and Michael built a successful life founded upon love and fidelity, mutual respect and shared
goals. Their greatest success being their two children, daughter Rachel Burns and son, Logan Burns.
Michelle’s love and pride in Rachel and Logan was unconditional, fierce, and deep. She was always
proud of their accomplishments and success.
Michelle contributed to the success of Tower Diagnostic in a career that spanned over 20 years of
service. Progressing up the ranks she worked almost every position from the front to back of the house,
culminating in her most gratifying role as Corporate Trainer. Her Tower associates held a special place in
their hearts for her and she loved them like family.
Michelle’s family and friends would describe her as “one of a kind”. There was truly no one quite like
her. She had spunk and spice but was everything nice. Her vibrant energy would lift any room she
entered and her passion for the things she loved made you love them too. The life of the party, most
would say. If she wasn’t busting a move on the dance floor or singing karaoke, she was telling a hilarious
joke. As a storyteller, she could captivate a group with her words, hand gestures and that unique
infectious laugh would make you laugh with happiness and joy. She loved singing in the car to every
song that played and traveling on girl’s trips with her flock of wild flamingos, time she loved with her
In addition to her husband and children, Michelle is survived by her sisters Kim Lord, Kelly Morin, and
Ann Marie Morin Metz: brothers Todd Morin, Paul Morin, Michael Morin and Barney Morin: 18 nieces
and nephews and many beloved friends.
Michelle was preceded in death by mother, Frances Morin, father, PJ Morin, brother Edward Zarzycki,
sister Debbie Thibeaut, mother-in-law, Marion Joy Burns and father-in-law, James Edward Burns.
