Paul Roger Bergeron
July 22, 1951 - June 23, 2023

Paul Bergeron aka “Sneker,” 71, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2023, at home, surrounded by his immediate family. Paul was born on July 22, 1951, to Arthur and Elsie (Paige) Bergeron in Manchester, NH and grew up in a big family of 11 children. In 1968, Paul met Sharon (Byrd), they wed in 1972, and raised two children, Benjamin and Corey. Paul was a strong, kind, and loving father and he and Sharon resided in Manchester, NH, until Paul and Sharon retired and moved to Florida in search of sun and fun 2016.

Paul will always be remembered for his love of billiards, but golf was his true passion, he played almost daily, and his family fondly recalls that one of his favorite spots was the “19 th hole” at
the Derryfield Country Club. Paul influenced his sons to become great golfers as well as his grandchildren, Eli and Ryah. Paul is also known for having hundreds of friends. He couldn’t go anywhere without knowing someone, and his friend’s faces lit up when they saw him – Paul was definitely the life of the party.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sharon of Zephyrhills, FL; his son, Benjamin of Truckee, CA; his son, Corey, wife Shannon, and grandchildren Eli and Ryah of Center Point, IA; his brother, Louie of MN; his sisters, Doris of FL, Leona and husband Raymond of NH, and Eva of NH. Also surviving are his many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Robert, Ray, Edward, Arthur, and Donald, and his sister Rita.

A celebration of life will be held in Zephyrhills on June 26 to honor Paul, and a large hometown celebration of Paul’s life with all of his many friends will be held on August 13 from 1 – 4 pm, at the Derryfield Country Club in Manchester, NH.
