Paula Diane Yeager
July 22, 1941 - September 17, 2022

Diane Yeager, 81 of Zephyrhills, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was born in Muscatine Iowa. She met her husband Mike at the University of Iowa.  They moved to Florida in 1970. She helped her husband at Manatee Pharmacy in Bradenton until they could afford to hire help. At that point she went into business for herself opening A Real Book Store. After 13 years she retired and gave her time to several organizations. She enjoyed her daily yoga exercises and water aerobics. Her wishes were few. She wanted everyone to “get along”.  She spoke well of everyone. She didn’t want a funeral she just wanted her family and friends to get together and “talk nice about her”. Her favorite charity was St Jude’s Hospital for Children. She is survived by her husband Mike, Daughter Angela Mitchell and her husband Kevin and grandson Nolan all of Dade City, FL. Also her son Jay Yeager from Astoria Oregon and granddaughter Ella in Moscow Idaho.

Mike, Angie, and Jay — Very sad to hear of Diane’s passing. Although I didn’t know her well, I feel the loss of a member of our (tiny) family. I credit our dear Aunt Ethel Brown for keeping me apprised of your comings and goings through the years which kept you all that much more in my thoughts. My best wishes to you all as you now adjust to living without her nearby.

Diane (and you) have been wonderful friends for lo these many years, too many to count! I will miss hearing from you at Christmas and our occasional visits. My love and sympathies to you, Mike, and Angie and Jay.

Mike and family – I am so sorry to hear about Diane. I had spent time with her when I was about ten and enjoyed getting reacquainted with her in our mature years. I had hoped to see her again. I hope that you are all doing well and surviving Hurricane Ian. Terry

Dear Mike and Angie and Jay, I am so sorry to hear about Diane. I really enjoyed email correspondence with her over the years, hearing about her life and yours, and keeping up with my cousins and their families. I know she’ll be greatly missed, and I hope that with time all the good memories will replace your sadness. Val
