Robert Clark Hinton
March 5, 1943 - December 1, 2023

Robert Clark Hinton, age 80, went to live with the Lord on Friday,
December 1.
He was born in Youngstown, Ohio. After school, he joined the Navy and
served from 1961- 1964. He had a successful lifetime of employment,
beginning with AC Trucking in Newburgh, a company building Milk
Tankers until 1965. Then working at McBride Trucking in Goshen, as a
welder until 1966 when he started a portable welding business and
welding shop in New Hampton, NY. Later, he moved to upstate NY in
1976 where he was employed as a furnace tech for Agway until 1986.
He finished his career with being self employed as a general contractor
until retirement in 2006 which brought him many fond memories while
living in Zephyrhills, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Harriett, of 61 years, a son, Robert Jr., of NY,
Granddaughters, Ashley (Shain) and Courtney, and 2 great
grandchildren, Adam James & Harper Elaine, one brother, Jack, nieces
and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, John Leslie and Cora Isabelle,
brothers, Carl and Dr. Charles Hinton, who earned his doctorate degree
as a Methodist Minister just before his passing, a son, John Harry,
deceased at birth and a niece.
Cremation has been performed by Coastal Cremations in Zephyrhills, Fl.
There will be no memorial services. Donations can be made to charities
of one’s choice.

A special thank you to the medical staff at The Royal Oaks facility and
The Rucki Hospice Care Center for the care they provided.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
