Thomas M. Trent, 94, of Wesley Chapel, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021. He was born in the Bronx and moved to Florida in 2017 to be with his family. He was an honorably discharged US Marine and an Electrical Engineer for the US Government. Thomas was a very charitable man, helping out an array of worthy causes, enjoyed electronics, was a gourmet cook, loved animals, his garden, photography and especially his family.
He is survived by his nephew, Albert G. Leigh; nieces, Marsha and her husband, Russell Reed, Madeline Leigh, Kay Leigh and Hari Leigh and his step-sister, Patti Martin. Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Veronica Galloway in 2001 and is also predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Inez (Marshall) Trent; niece, Gloria Lovell, sister, Madeline Trent and half-sister, Teresa Trent Bailey.
Interment and military honors will be rendered on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Florida National Cemetery at 11 o’clock am.
