Warren Butler Clarke
October 22, 1956 - April 5, 2023

Warren Butler Clarke, 66 of Zephyrhills, passed away on April 5, 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born in New Britain, CT. to Gerald and Hazel Hartley Clarke, he joined the Air Force out of high school. He was an honest, hard worker, retiring to Florida in 2003. Warren was a loveable, accident-prone lad with many battle scars to proveit. He loved music, attending many festivals and concerts, and a lover of all animals, especially his beloved cats. He was a lifelong NHRA fan. His knowledge and love for the sport of drag racing was encyclopedic; his collection of memorabilia and autographs was vast. He was able to attend the Gatornationals in Gainesville this past March with his brother, Bruce one last time, a wonderful memory.

He is survived by the love of his life, Donna Clarke of Zephyrhills; brother Norn and his wife, Peggy Clarke of Pittsfield, ME.; sister, Pat and husband, Sam Turner of Westbrook, CT.; and brother, Bruce and his wife, Brenda of Newport, ME; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Carroll and Wayne and step-son, Aaron Brown.

Private services will be held at a later date.

    It’s hard for me to believe in the last 30 days I was unable to contact Warren and now I know why and I’m just sad. Very sad. I have been a good friend of his and he of mine since 2013. I know he fought hard, and now he is at peace. I will miss you brother Warren.
