William Rexford Robertson, 75, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. William “Bill” was born in Corning, NY on January 22, 1949, the son of Rexford and Virginia Robertson. Bill lived a very fulfilling life starting out as a young man with a passion in everything that ran on 4 wheels and as an adult living his dream being an independent owner of his own auto shop, working many years at the Cortland State College Bus Garage and the final chapter of his career living a dream working at the Key West Aqueduct Authority. Bill settled in Zephyrhills in retirement with his soulmate Wilma by his side, found time for golfing and participated in many golf leagues, and took on many volunteer roles in his local community in Betmar Acres. Bill came full circle in retirement sharing his knowledge and skills with many individuals doing his best to make the park a more efficient, productive, and profitable organization.
William is survived by his partner and love of his life of 29 years, Wilma F. Corbin, his daughter, April Mueller (Scott Barrett) of Bridgeport, NY, his grandson, Nicholas C. Mueller of Baldwinsville, NY, his stepson, Kevin Corbin (Jennifer Corbin) of Alexandria, VA, grandchildren Cody Corbin, Adeline Corbin, Elodie Corbin, great-grandson, Killian Corbin, and brother, Donald Robertson of Corning, NY.
The family would like to thank Joey Candelora for his friendship and compassion with assisting the family with Bill’s care and all the guys at the barn who made Bill a part of their team – Bob, Robert, Jay, Chuck, Jeff, and Russ.
