Winniefred “Winnie” Blanch Welch
March 8, 1938 - June 18, 2021

Winnifred Blanch Welch age 83, of Zephyrhills, Florida and previously of Upstate New York, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2021.  She was born and raised in Upstate New York, the daughter of late Carroll and Gladys Miles.  Winnifred was loved by all and known as Aunt Winnie to her many nieces, nephews and her favorite dogs.  She loved to sew, making quilts for those she loved and worked endlessly with interior designing at home.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur Welch and her sisters, Freida Hayes, Carol Wulliez, and Beverly Whelan.  Winnie is survived by her four children, Melvin (Patti) Palm of Parish, NY, Karlene (Roger) Aubertine of Mexico, NY, Cheryal Young of Zephyrhills, FL and Roxanne Crysler of Port Charlotte, FL, her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Melinda, Andrea, Nicholas, Lisa, Tamara, and Geoffery, great grandchildren Dominique, Grace, Emily, Isabelle, Bianca, Carter, Danaia, Wesley, Aiden, Jase, and Demi, her beloved great great grandchildren August and Atticus. Winnie also had a special place in her heart for dear friends Bari Strandly, George Wright, Fran Dewey and Bev Hurley who she considered family. Services will be held in South Colton, New York at a future date.
